Cologne, Minn. – Crown College entered this week with a busy schedule as they will play eight games over six days. Monday and Tuesday included two non-conference double headers against Maranatha Baptist University of Watertown, Wisconsin. Crown split both days with the Sabercats winning game one 5-4, losing game two 6-1, losing game three 12-4, and winning game four 5-4.
Harry Ballantyne led the offense over the four game series going 5 for 9 from the plate, scoring five runs and collecting three RBIs.
Daryl Taylor also played well going 5 for 10 from the plate and knocking in five RBIs over the series.
Brandon Hudson picked up the game one victory as well as the game four save in another solid performance from the mound.
Seth Herdle collected the win in middle relief in game four after a solid outing by
Ryan Denison.
Crown will return to conference action this Thursday against Bethany Lutheran in Mankato, Minnesota.
