St. Bonifacius, Minn. – Crown College played their final two home games this year when both Bethany Lutheran College and Martin Luther College came to the Wild Athletic Center. Crown had lost to both teams earlier this year and was looking for some redemption against both schools. Unfortunately, the Storm was not able to pull off any upsets as they lost to Bethany Lutheran 62-51 and Martin Luther 76-52.
BLC – Crown found themselves down nine at the half 33-24 as both teams topped 20 turnovers in this sloppy affair. The second half turned into a free throw shooting contest for the Vikings as they went to the line 23 times to Crown's eight. This would be enough to keep Crown at bay for the final score of 62-51.
Crown was led by
Desiree Davis with 17 points and five steals while
Leah Breakfield scored 13 points and
Jessica Klaustermeier had 10.
MLC – Crown struggled to handle the high pressure defense in this game committing 21 turnovers leading to 29 Knight points. Crown also struggled mightily from the field shooting below 35% for the game. Martin Luther outrebounded the Storm 49-34 and had 22 offensive rebounds leading to another 24 points.
Davis led the Storm with 13 points and nine rebounds. Klaustermeier had a rough shooting night only going 1-11 from the field.
Andrea Besa chipped in eight points and five steals in a solid performance.
