Box Score Minneapolis, Minn. - Crown College played North Central Saturday afternoon in another UMAC contest in the young season. The Rams came out hot on their home court shooting just below 70% in the first half en route to a 55-39 lead. Although Crown kept things closer in the second half, they were unable to get the stops needed to close the lead losing by a final score of 102-84.
On the game, Crown allowed North Central to shoot 59.1% from the floor and 58.3% from beyond the arc. Even though Crown shot a decent percentage, it was nowhere near the Rams. Both teams collected 37 rebounds, and Crown did collect 18 offensive rebounds including seven by
Austin VanDerHeyden.
Tom Messner continued his hot shooting from Friday night and collected 19 points hitting five threes. VanDerHeyden collected another double double with 16 points and 12 rebounds while
James Brown had 15 points. Leading scorer
