Defensive Woes Continue for Storm

St. Paul, Minn. - Crown College gave up over 100 points in consecutive UMAC contests on Friday night as they fell to the Eagles 106-69.  Crown was unable keep the Eagles down as they shot 63.8% for the game and had 58 points in the paint.

The Storm have improved offensively in the last two games despite the losses.  Crown shot 40.6% for the game and did hit nine threes.  In addition, Crown only had 10 turnovers.  Unfortunately, the Storm did not have enough offensive firepower to make this one close.

Austin VanDerHeyden had a good game with 21 points and eight rebounds shooting 50% from the floor.  Tom Messner, Seth Moan, and James Brown all hit double figures with 15, 13, and 12 respectively.

Crown will play North Central on Saturday night in continued conference play.
