St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Crown College women were still searching for that elusive first victory as the Central College Dutch made the trip to the Wild Athletic Center. The 3-1 Dutch are members of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Tied at 10 a piece seven minutes into the game, Crown was looking much more competitive and to be in this game for the long haul. However, the Dutch would go on a 11-0 run over the next two minutes to blow the game wide open leading to a 75-49 defeat for Crown.
Free throws were a major factor in this game as the Dutch shot 33 of them and Crown only shot eight. Every other statistic was roughly the same as both teams turned the ball over in excess of 20 times.
Leah Breakfield posted a double double with 14 and 11 as
Desiree Davis had 11 points and seven rebounds.
Madison Stricklin had her best performance offensively with nine points on 4-6 shooting from the field.
Crown's next game is Thursday, December 4th against Finlandia University of Michigan with tipoff at 5:00 p.m.
