Blattner was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in July 2024 and Senior Woman Administrator in July of 2025. Blattner will begin her 4th season as the Head Volleyball Coach at Crown in 2026.
Before taking over as the head coach, Blattner spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Crown College while also coaching club volleyball for seven years. She began gaining collegiate coaching experience as a student assistant during her final semester at Bethel University. As a student-athlete, Blattner was a member of the Bethel University volleyball team for three seasons before stepping away from competition due to injury. The culmination of her experiences as a student-athlete and throughout her coaching journey shaped her coaching philosophy and strengthened her passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
Coaching Mission:Â
- First and foremost, it is our goal to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to grow and develop their relationship with the Lord. We understand that everyone comes in at a different point in their walk with the Lord, but it is our hope to walk alongside our players in that journey. Second, we expect our student-athletes to hold themselves to excellent academic standards while practicing time management skills in order to balance academic and athletic responsibilities. Finally, we aim to provide our student-athletes with a great four-year volleyball experience in our program. It is our intent that players participating in this program understand the value of hard work while striving to achieve individual and team goals.
