Amanda McDonald

Serving on campus as the Director of Student Success, with a mission to help ALL students meet their academic goals, McDonald will have a presence on campus as Crown looks to re-introduce tennis programs that had a one-year hiatus.

McDonald also has head coaching experience at the collegiate level, having led a tennis program in the UMAC in past years.

Coach McDonald is excited to lead a program that will feature boldly Christian athletes and strive for academic excellence and a desire to develop on the court.  A mantra for coach McDonald is “Hard work can never be taken away from you”.

“I am excited about the direction of Crown.  Together, my family and I enjoy investing in young adults. We are passionate about seeing young people live out their faith, grow in their independence, and pursue God’s calling on their lives”, coach McDonald was quoted as saying.

Coaching Mission:
  • As I coach, I emphasize spiritual growth, academic success, charter, and integrity. My goal is for my athletes is grow spiritually and become successful students and individuals who contribute to society through lessons learned in the classroom and during competition. These young men and women will become the next leaders in their households and concentration area. I am privileged to work alongside each student-athlete and watch their growth.
  • Coaching is a family commitment. I encourage athletes to hang out in my home, play games with my kids, and engage in the hard conversations of life. Serving as a Coach is a commitment my family has fully embraced, and I am honored to be a part of their lives.
