Noah Kandt will enter his third year in 2025 as the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach and his sixth season as an assistant men's basketball coach. This season will be the second season in the role of Associate Head Coach for Men's Basketball. Kandt led the women's golf program to their best team finish in program history with their 2nd place finish at the UMAC championships in 2023.
In his time at the helm of the golf programs the Polars have accumulated 10 All-UMAC selections, 6 school records, and 4 UMAC Player of the week selections. Women's golf participated in the NCCAA National Tournament in 2024.
He previously took on additional duties in the athletic department, serving as an Athletic Operations Assistant. Noah graduated with his MBA from Crown in December 2022 and also previously took an an adjunct professor role. Kandt has worked at Island View Golf Club for 5 years and worked at the nationally acclaimed Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania for 4 years. Kandt served as the head basketball manager for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 2015-2019.
During Kandt's first three season's as an assistant, the men's basketball program has continued to grow and push toward the top of the UMAC, finishing in a program best second place in 2021-22. Coach Kandt has been instrumental in every facet of the program's ascension, with special attention to player development. As the head coach of the JV team, Kandt saw that group increase thier win total in each of the past three seasons as well.
Prior to his time at Crown, Kandt served as the head basketball manager for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 2015-2019.
Noah is married to Crown women's soccer coach Katie (Carter) Kandt and they welcomed their first child this past spring Eden Kandt.
