Matt Bremer is entering his first season as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach in 2016. Bremer also serves as the Recruiting Coordinator for the football program.
Bremer is no stranger to Crown as he is a 2008 graduate with a degree in Sport Management and played quarterback for the Storm from 2004-2007. He was also a member of the Crown basketball team during his collegiate career.
Bremer comes to Crown after a six year stint as an assistant at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. He spent 2010-2013 coaching the wide receivers before transitioning to defensive backs coach in 2014-2015. Bremer assisted on teams that made the NCAA Division III playoffs in 5 out of his 6 seasons.

During his playing days, he helped lead the Storm to the first winning season in program history. He was voted the team Offensive Player of the Year in 2004 and 2007 and the team MVP in 2006. He was also voted UMAC Player of the Week on five occasions.

Upon graduation, Bremer went on to be the assistant wide receivers coach at Willamette University in Salem, OR during the 2008 season. That season Willamette advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs and finished with an 11-1 record.

Bremer has been married to his wife, Stephanie, also a Crown graduate, for five years and they have a son, Titus.
