Jake Kraft will begin his second season on staff for the Polars in 2023-24. Jake will be the Assistant coach for year two coaching in the program after he was the Head Pitching Coach for the Polars in 2022-2023.
Before joining the Crown coaching staff, Kraft was the Head Varsity baseball coach at Rockford High School. While coaching at Rockford, Kraft led the Rockets to their best finish within the last 20 seasons and their first finish above .500 in conference play in school history. Kraft has also worked as a private pitching instructor for the last 4 years working with future collegiate pitchers.Â
Kraft played both baseball and football at Augsburg University. During his time with the Auggies, he was a 2-year starter on the mound. He was also selected as a 1st Team All-Conference punter his senior season on the football team.Â

Kraft graduated from Augsburg University in 2019 and received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Coaching and Administration from Crown College.Â
