Morris, Minn. – The Polars traveled to Morris on Wednesday night and fell to the Cougars by a score of 79–66.
After a back-and-forth start, the Cougars built a small lead late in the first half, sending Crown into the break trailing by seven. Morris continued to extend its advantage in the second half, as the Polars struggled to find the same offensive efficiency they have shown in recent games.
Crown ultimately came away with a 79–66 loss, marking its third conference defeat of the season, while still remaining in a strong position to qualify for the postseason tournament.
Anthony Knight led the Polars in scoring with 15 points. Donovon Washington provided a spark off the bench, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Tyler Smith and Parker Behne each added seven points, with Smith also recording 10 rebounds and two blocks.
The Polars will conclude their road schedule Saturday at North Central in a matchup with important playoff implications. Crown then returns home for its final three conference games of the regular season.
