St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The women's basketball team hosted the Bethany Lutheran Vikings on Saturday afternoon, falling 38–60.
The Polars led much of the first quarter behind efficient scoring from Brayli Reimer, but the Vikings took the lead late in the frame and held a 15–12 advantage heading into the second quarter. Bethany Lutheran continued to build its lead in the second quarter and never surrendered it for the remainder of the game.
Reimer led the Polars in scoring with 11 points, along with seven rebounds and two steals. Sydney Cotten finished with 10 points and added two steals. Jacee Glasgow went 2-for-2 from beyond the arc and scored eight points.
The Polars will travel for two straight games before returning home for the final three games of the regular season. On Wednesday, they head to the University of Minnesota Morris before traveling to North Central University on Saturday.
