New Ulm, MN - Knights Take Down Polars in Friday Night Battle
The night kicked off in thrilling fashion with a nail-biting 25-23 first set, as the Knights edged out the Polars to take the early lead. Martin Luther carried that momentum into the second set, securing another win and putting Crown on the defensive. The third set turned into a high-energy battle, with both teams trading points in a back-and-forth showdown that stretched all the way to 28-26. Delaney Boone led the offensive charge once again, racking up 7 kills. At the setter position, Brooke Rummel continued to shine, dishing out 13 assists. The back row was anchored by a solid team effort, with Brenna Clasemann, Kiana Kendall, and Ari Klein all reaching double digits in digs.
The Polars return to action tomorrow, taking on Bethany Lutheran at 1:00 p.m.
