Polars Sit Third in 2024-25 UMAC Kruse Award Competition After Winter Season

St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown College Polars sit third in the 2024-25 Jerome Kruse Award standings after the winter season. The award, named in honor of long-time Northwestern College (Wis.) and Martin Luther College athletic director Jerome Kruse, travels to the college with the most points accumulated by the place finishes of the college's athletic teams in the final standings of 18 conference sponsored sports.
 
The Polars stand in third with 49 points after winning the women's indoor track & field championship. Crown also placed third in men's indoor track & field. Crown finished in 6th place last academic year after barely missing out on the top five and is on a record pace in the 2024-25 academic year. See the full standings below:
