Superior, WI - Yellowjackets take down Polars in final UMAC weekend.
The UMAC regular season came to a close today as Crown hit the road for their final matchup against UW–Superior. In their earlier meeting, the Polars managed to take a set in a hard-fought home contest, and today's rematch proved just as competitive. Crown battled throughout the late morning match, but the Yellowjackets held firm to claim a straight-set victory. Delaney Boone led another strong team effort, while Kamille Massey and Alyssa Heagney each matched her with five kills apiece. Freshman setter Brook Orazem capped off her first UMAC campaign with an impressive 19 assists.
The Polars now turn their attention to NCCAA postseason play, where they'll face conference rival North Central University on Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Minneapolis.
