Women's Basketball Takes 4th at NCCAA DII Championships

St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Women's Basketball team faced off with Pensacola Christian on Satruday and fell by a score of 82-70.

The Eagles jumped out in front to take an early lead before 8 straight points from Mya Morris gave Crown their first lead of the contest 13-11. A layup in the last minute of the 1st quarter saw the Eagles jump back in front 17-17. A huge second quarter from the Eagles gave them a 9 point lead heading into the half. Pensacola Christian extended the lead up to 22 at one point in the 4th quarter. Crown battled to within 8 points but fell in the end.

McKenzie Latzke totaled 21 points and 3 assists in the contest. Mya Morris scored 18 points and totaled 6 rebounds in the contest. Sydney Cotten led Crown with 9 rebounds.

Polars women's basketball finishes the season 7-24 overall and 2-12 in UMAC play.
