St. Bonifacius, MN - Crown College's Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs announced the promotion of Jared Gilmore to Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Operations on Friday. 
  
Gilmore rises to the department's leadership team after serving the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years as Director of Sports Information and Operations. 

  
"I am blessed to serve the student-athletes here at Crown and look forward to engaging with past, present, and future Polars," said Gilmore. 
  
Gilmore has helped oversee an expansive growth in social media exposure for the department in addition to improving video broadcasts for all sports. 
   
Gilmore manages the Crown Athletic Communications office which maintains the Polars brand through media relations, website management, and social media. The department additionally oversees game day operations for all of Crown's 18 sponsored sports. Gilmore is responsible for all gameday ticketing and concessions, as well as the facility and operations aspect of Polar Athletics. 
 
A native of Caruthers, CA, Gilmore owns a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Christian Studies, along with a minor in Sport Management from Crown College. Gilmore, who was a four-year, record-setting, starting quarterback for the Polars, is married to Gracie (Zieroth), a former standout Crown volleyball player. In his spare time Gilmore enjoys fishing the 10,000 lakes in Minnesota.
