Dundas, MN - The Polars Softball team faced off with Carleton in two games and fell in both contests by scores of 9-0 and 14-3.
Crown was unable to get the bats going in the first game of the day only getting one player on base as
Catelyn Garza walked. Carleton was able to score 8 combined runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings as Crown fell 9-0.Â
Abbie Carroll took the mound and pitched for 4 innings.
Abbey Underdahl finished out the game.
Game two saw the Polars bats get off to a good start scoring 2 runs in the first inning on 2 hits, 2 walks, and a sacrifice. Carleton answered right back scoring 2 runs of their own evening the score at 2-2. The Carleton offense scored 12 unanswered runs and Crown fell 14-3 in five innings.

Abbie Carroll pitched 1.Â
Five Polars got hits in game two with Underdahl getting the lone extra base hit. She also added a stolen base.Â
Crown falls to 0-2 on the season and will play in two more dome games next Saturday, February 24th with neutral site games against UW-Stout and St. Catherine University.
