Kissimmee, FL - The Polars men's soccer team battled with Spurgeon College on Thursday and came out on top 6-2.
A goal from Isaac Schulz put Crown out in front in the 35th minute. Shortly after Spurgeon answered and they went into halftime tied at 1-1.
Crown's offense came alive in the second half as Colin Vilme scored in the 57th minute, Timmy Jackson scored in the 63rd minute, Duilio Del Carpio scored in the 64th minute, Ashton Hosler scored in the 70th minute, and Alan Montano in the 84th minute.
The Polars finish the NCCAA DII National tournament 2-0-1 and just miss out on the championship due to goal differential. With 14 wins on the season the Polars set a new program record for wins in a season in the NCAA-era (since 2008).
