Superior, WI – The Polars men's soccer team took on UW-Superior on Saturday and fell by a score of 4-0.
With UMAC seeding all locked in, the final conference match of the season saw Crown fall behind early. The Yellowjackets got on the scoreboard in the 30
th minute after both teams were limited in opportunities. Just four minutes later UW-Superior added one more goal to take the 2-0 lead headed into the half.
UW-Superior closed out the contest with a five goal second half and the score finished 7-0. Crown totaled just 6 shots on the day with the Yellowjackets totaling 27 shots.
Duilio Del Carpio got the Polars lone shot on goal.
Leo Roque and
Will Parcher both played in goal for Crown.
The Polars fall to 10-10 on the season and 9-5 in UMAC play. The Polars will next head into the UMAC postseason tournament on the road where they will take on the number two seeded Bethany Lutheran College Vikings on Wednesday, November 6
th at 4:30pm.
