Kissimmee, FL - The Polars men's soccer team took on Barclay College on Monday and came out on top 1-0.
After a very even first 40 minutes of play Crown was able to get on the scoreboard as
Isaac Schulz sent one into the back of the net after a ball in from
Omar Navarro. The Bears of Barclay College tallied one less shot in the first half compared to the Polars.
The second half was a battled that resulted in no goals scored and the Polars were victorious. A big difference in the contest was the Polars converting on their one excellent opportunity and totaling 9 shots on goal compared to just 4 from Barclay.
Leo Roque recorded a clean sheet in the full 90 minutes.
The Polars move to 13-10-1 on the season and will next face off with Boyce College tomorrow Tuesday, November 19th at 12pm CST.
