Timmy Jackson's Two Goals Not Enough as Polars Fall 4-2

Verona, WI - The Polars men's soccer team headed on the road to take on the Edgewood College Eagles on Friday and fell by a score of 4-2.

Just three minutes in to the first half the Polars received their first yellow card of the match. Five shots and a goal from Edgewood put the Polars down 1-0 just 11 minutes in. A quiet stretch of about 23 minutes was ended after another Edgewood goal and that would do it for the first half. The second half saw a goal from Edgewood to put the score at 3-0. In the 70th minute a good ball in from Luca Kaltenbach gave Timmy Jackson an opportunity to capitilize on as Jackson scored his first goal as a Polar. Just over ten minutes later Jackson saw another opportunity and made it count cutting the score down to 3-2. A late offensive push from the Eagles finalized the score at 4-2.

Crown was outshot 18-11 in the match with the Polars having 5 shots on goal. Both teams very even in corner kicks, fouls, and saves.
