Mankato, MN - The Polars headed on the road for a UMAC match with the Bethany Lutheran Vikings and fell 3-1.
The first half went in the Polars favor after 20 minutes of play when
Alan Montano was able to score the first goal of the match off of a header. The first half finished with just seven total shots as the Polars were out in front 1-0. The second half was a much different story as the Vikings outshot the Polars 12 to 5 and score goals in the 52nd minute, 69th minute, and in the 88th minutes as Crown dropped the contest 3-1.
Leo Roque totaled 6 saves in goal in the full 90 minutes.
The Polars fall to 3-6-1 on the year and 2-2-1 in UMAC play and will return home for a Homecoming match with North Central at 5pm on Saturday.
