Morris, MN - The Men's and Women's Tennis teams faced off with the Minnesota Morris Cougars in Morris, MN on Thursday. The men took 4 out of the 9 but were bested in the tightest contest of the season and the women fell 9-0.
An exciting match from the beginning started with a number one 8-2 doubles win for
David Comings and
Tim Jaeger.
Gabe Rojas Gomez and
Cole Matthys won the number three doubles match by default. Comings once again swept Morris winning the number one singles match 6-0 and 6-0.
Brock Knick also won by defaulkt in the #6 singles match for Crown. With that the Polars were tied at with three singles matches to determine the victor. Three tight losses and the Crown men fell 5-4.
Annie Doyle competed as the number one for the Crown women but was unable to win either the singles or double match falling by scores of 6-2 and 6-0 in singles action while falling by a score of 8-4 in doubles action with
Jaidence Medina.Â

Polars tennis returns to action on April 15th taking on the University of Northwestern once again at 3pm on Saturday, April 14th in Chaska, Minnesota.
