Frequently Asked Questions:
- Â Â What will my child be doing at Day Camp?
Day Camp is an individual skills based program, for boys and girls aged 6-14, that incorporates those basic skills into a team/game setting. Each morning campers will receive instruction on the essential skills of passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting, and goalkeeping. These skills are then developed even further in small sided games and other activities. After lunch campers will have a video time or other group activity along with the playing of their "World Cup Games." This is the opportunity for their coaches to tie in the skills they have learned with the game and teach basic attacking and defensive concepts. On Friday, campers will participate in individual skills competitions and the "World Cup Finals," in which one team from each division will be crowned as "World Cup Champions."
Â
        2.  How are the campers grouped for teaching and games in Day CampÂ
Campers are divided by age determined by their age as of January 1 of the current year. Players will be grouped into three categories: Juniors (age 6-8), Intermediate (age 9-11), and Seniors (age 12-14). Each camper will be assigned a team with a coach that will be with them for the entire week.
