Fargo, ND – The Crown College Polars Tennis teams competed in Fargo, North Dakota taking on the Concordia College Cobbers both falling by scores of 9-0.
The Men's team consisted of
David Comings,
Titus Krech,
Diego Narezo,
Jackson McFaden,
Gabe Rojas Gomez, and
Cole Matthys. The combination of Narezo and McFaden in doubles won 2 games and the combination of Rojas Gomez and Matthys won 2 in doubles as well, both falling by scores of 8-2.
The Women's team consisted of
Annie Doyle,
Jaidence Medina,
Ella Hosmer,
Laura Barrett, Alora Devries, and
Amanda Helser. Medina and Doyle won 2 games in their doubles match but fell 8-2.
The future is bright for Polars Tennis with their first match out of the way with 12 total first year collegiate players. The Women's team is back in action against Minnesota Crookston on Friday, February 17
th. The men's team will get a decent break returning to action on March 21
st for UMAC play.
