St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars faced off with the UW-River Falls Falcons on Thursday and fell 77-54.
Early on in the contest the Polars and Falcons battled back and forth as River Falls jumped out in front 8-7. Crown's first and only lead of the contest came with 15:15 to play in the first half. The Falcons outscored the Polars 29-16 to close out the first half. Crown tried to battle back in the second half but couldn't do so only cutting the Falcons lead to thirteen. UW-River Falls took home the win with a final score of 77-54.
Cade Carroll led the Polars offensively with 15 total points in the contest.
Tyrus Buckner finished closely behind with 10 points in the contest and led the Polars with 7 rebounds.
Micah Ladd finished with 5 assists. Crown played a total of 17 players in the game. As a team Crown struggled shooting as they went 20-54 from the field for 37% and 5-23 from three point range shooting 21.7%.
The Polars fall to 5-2 on the season and will return home for a contest with Dakota State on Saturday, December 2nd at 6pm.
