Polars Play Even With Eagles, Match Ends in 1-1 Tie

St. Bonifacius, MN - The Men's Soccer team faced off with the Northwestern Eagles on Saturday and finished in a 1-1 tie.

The first half saw neither team gain an edge with good looks far and few between. The first goal of the contest game in the first few minutes of the second half when Ashton Hosler sent a header in off a great ball in by Silva. About thirty minutes later in the contest the Eagles found the answer to tie things up at 1-1. That is how the match would finish as both teams finished with 9 shots on teh day.

Ashton Hosler scored his 3rd goal of the year, he also totaled 5 shots in the contest. Leo Roque totaled 5 saves in the full 90 minutes in goal.

The Polars move to 4-7-2 on the seasona nd 3-3-2 in UMAC play and will now head on the road to UM-Morris for a 3:30pm match on Wednesday, October 11th.
