Women's Soccer Drops Contest to Yellowjackets, Polars Set to Return to the UMAC Semifinalsls

St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Women's Soccer team faced off with the UW-Superior Yellowjackets at home for senior day and fell 7-0.

Crown honored six seniors on Saturday including Laura Anderson, Emma Wall, Rylee Fischer, Taylor Fischer, Emma Domka, and Audri Sturgeon. All six players who were honored got the start. UW-Superior jumped out in front early and never looked back as they scored three first half goals. The second half was much of the same the final score finished at 7-0.

Both Rachel Fuller and Hayden Peterson got minutes in goal as Fuller totaled 4 saves and Peterson totaled 2. Domka took the lone Polars shot of the day.

Crown finishes the regular season 6-9-3 and 6-5-3 in UMAC play. The Polars will next head to the UMAC Semifinal where they will head on the road for a rematch with the Yellowjackets at 4:30pm on Wednesday, November 1st.
