Men's Soccer Runs to 2-0 Win Over North Central

Minneapolis, MN - The Polars Men's Soccer team faced off with the North Central Rams on Saturday and came out on top 2-0.

In the 11th minute Ashton Hosler scored his 4th goal of the season after an early penalty kick to Hosler capitalized on. The first half would finish at 1-0 as Crown held onto their one goal lead. The Polars led 11-3 in shots in the first half. Crown scored the only second half goal as well with the second goal of the day coming from Juan Fernando Arriaga in the 69th minute. Crown went on to win 2-0.

The Polars led in total shots 24 to 6 and totaled ten shots on goal. Crown held the Rams to no shots on goal as they also led in scorner kicks 13-3.

Crown moves to 8-8-2 on the season and 6-4-2 in UMAC play which puts them in fourth place with two conference matches remaining. The Polars will next return home to face off with Bethany Lutheran on Wednesday, October 25th for a 7pm start.
