St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Men's Soccer team faced off with the Eagles of Faith Baptist on Thursday and came out with the 5-0 win.
Crown took the lead early in the first half as
Isaac Schulz scored his first goal of the season. The Polars held the Eagles to no shots in the first half showing an incredible defensive effort. The second half saw Schulz score twice with one coming on a penalty kick goal. The Polars scored two other goals with one coming in the 65th minute by
Omar Navarro and in the 89th minute by
Arthur Borges.
Shulz totaled three goals and the hat trick. He also gained an assist in the contest. Navarro also had a goal with an assist.
Tade Geving also earned an assist.
Max Henderson and
Mateo Navarro both played in goal as Henderson grabbed a save.
The Polars move to 7-8-2 on the season and will face off with North Central University on October 21st at 3:30pm.
