St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown volleyball team battled on homecoming against visiting North Central, but ultimately came up short in a 3-0 loss on Friday night.
The Polars continued to struggle in attack, totaling just 12 kills on the night, led by five from
Hailey Klein.
The team played their best set of the match in the third, leading 18-11 at one point. The Rams, however, finished on a 14-4 run to claim the set and the victory.
Samantha Swanson led Crown with six assists and three aces.
Sage Johnston and
Jocelynn Shockley each recorded eight digs.
The Polars will continue their UMAC schedule with an away match at Minnesota Morris this coming Tuesday.
