New Ulm, Minn. – Seeking their sixth consecutive victory and the season sweep over Martin Luther, the Crown baseball team slugged their way to 15 runs, earning a seven-inning win over the Knights.
Kyle Schroedle was the damage dealer on this day, going 5-5 with four runs scored and four knocked in, including his ninth and tenth home runs of the season.

Blake Boggs, and
Mason Brock each recorded two hits as well, as the Storm stole eight bases in the contest.
On the mound,
Eric Newman got the start and pitched two scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
Tyler Bloom followed with two innings and gave up two earned runs while striking out two before giving way to
Aidan Volk-Specht. Volk-Specht gave up an unearned run in an inning of work before
Jacob Crowley fired two scoreless innings with five strikeouts to finish the game.
The win pushes Crown's record to 15-9 on the season with an 8-2 mark in UMAC play. The team is scheduled to play a single game at Hamline on Thursday.
