St. Bonifacius, Minn – The Crown men's basketball team earned a win on Friday night defeating the Finlandia Lions at home 92-75. The Polars have rolled off 4 straight wins after falling in their home opener.
The first half saw 4 lead changes in a very contested effort by both teams. The Polars dominated the second half going 19-31 from the field shooting 61.3%.
Second chance points were key for Crown scoring nineteen points off of offensive rebounds to Finlandia's nine.
Seth Royston led Crown with 25 points for his season high so far, he also added 9 rebounds and 5 blocks on the night. Both
Jacob Masek and
Alec Testerman contributed significantly with Testerman scoring 17 and Masek with 14. Masek also added 9 assists just short of a double double.
Crown topped 90 points for the second time this season and will head to Fargo, North Dakota on Sunday to take on NDSU in an exhibition matchup at 1pm. The Polars then will return home to take on Oak Hills Christian Tuesday, November 22
