Superior, WI - Crown faced off with UW-Superior for the second time this season on Saturday falling by a score of 3-2.

The Yellowjackets edged a lead early with a goal in the 7th minute and struck paydirt once again in the 11th minute.

Emma Domka found her 7th goal of the season in the 27th minute with an assist from Abigail Shull to keep the Polars within striking distance. 

The Yellowjackets added a third goal in the 75th minute to take a 3-1 lead.

Rylee Fischer added her first goal of the season late in the 85th minute with an assist from Laura Anderson.

The Polars were outshot 16-5, yet very efficient putting 2 in the net. 

Despite falling in this contest they will head back up to UW-Superior to face off with the #1 seeded Yellowjackets for the third time this season in their first ever UMAC postseason playoff match on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at 6pm.
