Superior, WI - The Polars Men's Soccer team faced off with the UMAC leader, UW-Superior Yellowjackets on Saturday.
No goals were scored in the first 45 minutes of this contest, with a 0-0 score in the first half. It wasn't until the 50th minute that the Yellowjackets struck first. Shortly after that Superior found the back of the net in the 83rd minute to solidify a 2-0 lead.
The Polars were outshot 28-2 by the Yellowjackets. Crown's goalkeeper Max Henderson totaled 12 saves in the net.
Crown returns to action this Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at 3:30pm as they will travel back to Superior, Wisconsin to face the #1 seeded Yellowjackets again, this time in the first round of the UMAC postseason playoffs.
