Minneapolis, Minn. – The Crown Volleyball team couldn't maintain their momentum from a home win the night before in the opening match of UMAC play against the North Central University Rams, falling in straight sets.

NCU won the match 25-16, 25-12, 25-13 amassing 37 kills with a .317 hitting percentage. Crown managed 17 kills and were paced by senior Gracie Zieroth with six. Perhaps the biggest difference in the match was on serve, with the Rams recording 14 service aces to just one for the Storm.

Amy Martius once again led the team with nine assists, while first-year Sage Johnston recorded nine digs for Crown.

The Storm will look to rebound at home on Tuesday when they host Minnesota Morris in their UMAC home-opener.
