St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown College Men's Soccer team hosted Buena Vista in their home opener at Old National Bank Stadium on Tuesday night.
Buena Vista was able to get on the board first, and Crown battled back with a goal from Junior
Emerson Greseth (Dunlap, Illinois). The score was 1-1 at the half and remained that way for most of the second half. A late opportunity pushed the Beavers in front 2-1 in a hard-fought second half.
This marked the fourth all-time meeting between Buena Vista and Crown. The match was the final non-conference contest before UMAC play begins this weekend. Crown will host UM-Morris on Saturday at 4 p.m. to open their league slate.
