ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Women's Soccer took on their rivals, the University of Northwestern Eagles, Friday night at Old National Bank Stadium. The Storm held their own in the first half, trailing by only one at halftime. However, a pair of second-half goals proved too much to overcome as the Storm fell 3-0. The loss drops the Storm to 2-4 on the season.
In goal for the Storm, first-year Molly Schmitz recorded a season-high in saves with 14. On the offensive end, fellow first-years Emma Domka and Audri Sturgeon both had a pair of shots.
The Storm continue their season Tuesday night at 7:30 as they take on Martin Luther College in their final home contest of the season.
