ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Women's Soccer continued their season on Wednesday, taking on the UM-Morris Cougars at Old National Bank Stadium. Junior Hailey Carter scored twice in the battle between the schools, but unfortunately, the Storm fell 4-2. Crown is now 2-3 in UMAC play, sitting in fifth place.
Emma Domka and Abigail Taylor both had assists in the contest, taking shots that bounced off the goalie, giving Carter her opportunities. Crown split possession with Morris evenly, with the Cougars barely outshooting the Storm 16-15. Domka and Taylor led Crown in shots on goal with three apiece. In net was first-year Molly Schmitz, who recorded five saves.
The Storm will be back in action again on Friday, taking on Northwestern at 7:30 on Crown's campus.
