MINNEAPOLIS --- Crown Women's Soccer won their second match of the season on Saturday in an epic overtime battle with the North Central Rams. Emma Domka hit a game-winner after Amber Langlois's pass was deflected to give her the opportunity.
The Storm controlled possession in the contest with 42 shots, 25 on target compared to the Rams' 16 and 10. Domka and Abigail Taylor led the way with seven shots on target. Ellie Taylor, Hailey Carter, Audri Sturgeon, Emma Bjurstrom, and Langlois all had multiple shots on goal.
First-year keeper Molly Schmitz earned her second win of the season, with eight saves and no goals allowed in the 100 minutes of action. Katie Archer received a yellow card in the contest.
Crown will continue their spring season with a matchup against the UM-Morris Cougars on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
