MINNEAPOLIS --- Crown Women's Basketball concluded their season on Thursday as they fell to the No. 1 North Central Rams in the first round of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Playoffs. First-year McKenzie Latzke led the team in scoring, making five three-point attempts and scoring 15 points in the Storm Women's Basketball program's first playoff appearance in the school's NCAA era.
Sophomore Dominique Urbina had 12 points in the contest and led the Storm with four steals. Fellow sophomore Amy Martius led the team with nine rebounds and made three field-goal attempts.
Molly Schmitz, Shauna Thompson, Raelin Smalley, Grace Lindgren, Katie Archer, and May Laverty finished the Storm's scoring performance, all with at least two points.
Crown Women's Basketball has no senior athletes and can return every single athlete to the program.
