ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Senior Madison Timm had a career day on Thursday afternoon as the Storm Volleyball program took on the Northland Lumberjills. Timm hit a career-high nine kills along with a team-high 13 digs, earning a .364 attack percentage. Unfortunately, Timm's efforts fell short as the Northland Lumberjills bested Crown 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-19).
Gracie Zieroth, Chloe Burr, and Sara Braland joined Timm with double-digit digs as the Storm pulled together a tremendous defensive performance. Braland added six kills, Zieroth added five, and Emily Holliday added four for the Storm. Another athlete that had an excellent game for the Storm was the first-year setter Kaitlin Fischer, who had a personal best passing the ball with 22 assists, her first game with over 20 assists.
The Storm's next contest is against the Bethany Lutheran Vikings, set for Thursday at 7 p.m. in Mankato.
