Fischer Has 18 Assists, Zieroth Continues Strong Overall Play against UWS

SUPERIOR, Wis. --- Crown College Volleyball continued their Spring Season on Saturday heading to the University of Wisconsin-Superior but unfortunately fell in three sets. The Storm nearly took the second, scoring 20 points and leading 19-18 late. However, the Yellowjackets made a late run to take the sweep.

First-year Kaitlin Fischer had a career-high 18 assists and has had double-digit assists in all three contests. Three Storm players had at least six kills, with sophomore Sarah Braland leading the way with seven and sophomore Emily Holliday and junior Gracie Zieroth (6) recording six. Zieroth also played exceptional defense, with a team-leading eleven digs, and had the Storm's lone ace.

Crown will quickly look to reset with a non-conference matchup on Monday night at North Central University in downtown Minneapolis.
