New Ulm, Minn. – the Crown volleyball team dropped a road UMAC contest to Martin Luther College on Friday night, losing in straight sets, 25-14, 25-16, 25-13. Crown battled on the defensive end, recording seven blocks and 32 digs, but only managed 16 kills to the Knights 37.
Talana Rudzitis recorded ten assists and a season high four blocks in the match, while
Ashley Earick led the attack with six kills.
Jocelynn Shockley added five kills while
Sage Johnston led the squad with nine digs.
Crown will look to get into the UMAC win column on Saturday as they travel to 1-5 Bethany Lutheran for a big conference contest.
