Ashland, Wis. – The Crown women's soccer team earned an important point on Saturday, playing out an entertaining 0-0 draw with host Northland College. Despite the lack of goals, the game was a good watch as both teams carved out chances and threatened over various periods of the match.

Crown was once again led by Emma Domka and Ashley Pierce, who both had a couple of chances in regulation.

Crown controlled most of the second half, with Northland not able to create even a single shot in the period, but the Jills did press the action late in overtime, seeing three chances in the final 90 seconds go begging.

Molly Schmitz, who recorded her third shutout of the season, kept the clean sheet intact with a big save late in the final overtime period.

Crown returns to UMAC action on Wednesday when they host Martin Luther.
