St. Bonifacius, Minn. – A beat-up Crown volleyball team hosted UW-Superior in a UMAC matchup on Friday night, falling in straight sets, 25-16, 25-7, 25-6. Crown was dealing with several key injuries heading into the match and were not able to grab any momentum from the Yellowjackets.
Ashley Earick led the team in kills while Talana Rudzitis took over primary setting duties with Amy Martius injured and led the Storm with nine assists. Sage Johnston once again paced the defense with seven digs.
Crown struggled in attack, recording 13 kills and 14 attacking errors for a -.014 hitting percentage and didn't record an ace in the match.
The Storm host a huge game tomorrow as Northland College comes to town for a 1 p.m. start.
