St. Paul, Minn. – The Crown women's soccer team held their ground for just over an hour against immense pressure from the host Eagles, but eventually allowed three goals in what was a 3-0 defeat on Friday afternoon. 

The continually shorthanded Storm were only able to muster a single shot in the game, facing 38 shots from UNW.  Molly Schmitz had 12 saves but as the night went on the superior numbers of the hosts made a real difference as they were able to pull away.

Crown returns to action next Friday with a trip to Bethany Lutheran.
