ST. PAUL, Minn. --- Sophomore pitcher Derek Albers was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Albers had a fantastic week, receiving his first win of the season in a five-inning start against Elms College. He struck out five batters and allowed only one run and three hits.

This award is Crown Baseball's first UMAC Player of the Week award this season, and the fifth time a Crown Baseball pitcher has been named UMAC Player of the Week since the award debuted in 2011.

The rest of the season is currently under review due to the COVID-19 situation; for the most updated information, head to crown.edu/coronavirus.
