Wendel's Incredible Game Not Enough to Propel Storm Past Saints

ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Men's Basketball competed closely with St. Scholastica on Saturday but unfortunately fell to the Saints 82-77. Senior forward Tim Wendel had an outstanding performance with 32 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, five steals, and four assists as the senior continue to show why he was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Player of the Year last season. Included in his 32 points were six made three-pointers, on only eleven attempts.

Senior guard Gunnar Ledin scored 14 points in the contest, and first-year Alec Testerman led off the bench with seven points. Starters Zach Skorik and Seth Royston both had six points in the game. Christian Moore, Cole Andersen, Sawyer Lawhon, and Brandon Pratt had the Storm's remaining twelve points.

Crown now heads to UM-Morris on Wednesday for another UMAC contest to potentially clinch a spot in the 2020 UMAC Playoffs.
