ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Men's Basketball competed closely with St. Scholastica on Saturday but unfortunately fell to the Saints 82-77. Senior forward
Tim Wendel had an outstanding performance with 32 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, five steals, and four assists as the senior continue to show why he was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Player of the Year last season. Included in his 32 points were six made three-pointers, on only eleven attempts.
Senior guard
Gunnar Ledin scored 14 points in the contest, and first-year
Alec Testerman led off the bench with seven points. Starters
Zach Skorik and
Seth Royston both had six points in the game.
Christian Moore,
Cole Andersen,
Sawyer Lawhon, and
Brandon Pratt had the Storm's remaining twelve points.
Crown now heads to UM-Morris on Wednesday for another UMAC contest to potentially clinch a spot in the 2020 UMAC Playoffs.
